Pictures, achieved significant milestones. It not only scored highly at the box office but also opened new dimensions for female directors in the history of world cinema. Barbie movie became the highest grossing movie of all time by a female director and it has become the biggest ever female directed film. Anu has always been an animal lover since a young age, and it has been her dream to care for stray dogs and provide them with assistance. A small contribution to society can bring about significant changes, instilling hope and belief in humanity. This is exactly what Anu Thami from Sikkim achieved by offering shelter to many disabled dogs in and around the region. In 2020, Thami left her job to establish a national Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) called People for Animals (PFA) in Sikkim. She currently serves as the President of the NGO. The team consists of young volunteers, an ambulance driver, and a rescue team. Currently, the shelter houses 22 dogs, including some with disabilities and others living with extreme conditions like blindness.
